CE Course Description

The harsh realities of aging in America are coming into sharp focus. Idaho’s required “Idaho Long Term Care Partnership Training” insurance continuing education course meets the Idaho 8-hour LTC Long Term Care CE requirement. This Idaho specific course was designed, constructed and written to provide ID LH Life & Health agents, producers, and ID CE students with online continuing education in the area of the basics of Long-Term Care and the Idaho LTC Partnership.

In the next decade or so, the number of Americans over age 65 will more than double to 65+ million. Idaho LH Life & Health agents and producers will be telling and hearing a story frequently that 95-year-old baby boomers without long-term care insurance may have to rely on a 90-year-old spouse or a 70-year-old son or daughter for personal care. In Idaho, consumers cannot rely on Medicare, Medicare supplementary insurance, or health insurance to help them meet long-term care costs. They do not cover most long-term care expenses.

In an easy-to-use online CE format, the “Idaho Long Term Care Partnership Training” online CE course fulfills ID LH Life & Health agents and producers LTC CE requirement. This specialized LTC course was designed to meet your Idaho 8-hour “Initial” training requirement for licensed agents who sell long-term care insurance as well as for those who sell LTC Insurance in concert with the Idaho LTC partnership programs.

Also included in “Idaho Long Term Care Partnership Training” are discussions regarding available long-term care services and providers, the fundamental nature of long-term care, long-term care insurance, government-sponsored health care options (including Medicaid), partnership programs, alternatives for funding LTC costs, and the ethical and suitability issues associated with sale of long-term care products and policies. It includes a specialized section on Idaho’s Medicaid and Long-Term Care Partnership programs.

This Idaho Long-Term Care LTC course, “Idaho Long Term Care Partnership Training”, is a CE continuing education course created for you to enhance your professional development and the professional competence of financial and ID LH Life & Health agents and producer professionals aspiring to make Long-Term Care insurance the cornerstone of their personal mission, as well as to fulfill their commitment to their clients to stay up to date on key long term care areas that affect them and their families.
