CE Course Description

The Medicaid regulatory landscape is constantly changing—and so is the market for long-term care. Keep your knowledge up-to-date, and offer your customers the most current expertise possible regarding Wisconsin Medicaid and the LTC Partnership Program—with this course.

In Wisconsin, the number of people needing long-term care is expected to rise—and with it, the demand for exhaustive LTC insurance coverage. Long-term care is currently not covered by Medicare or private health insurance plans, and traditional LTC policies may not cover every expense. The Wisconsin Long-Term Care Partnership program allows qualifying policyholders to tap into Medicaid funding to preserve their assets and continue to pay for care when traditional LTC policies expire.

This course satisfies Wisconsin requirements for 4 credit hours of continuing education in the field of long-term care. It provides up-to-the-minute information on Wisconsin’s Long-Term Care Partnership program as well as a refresher on traditional Long-Term Care insurance. Specific topics covered include:

  • Medicaid and Wisconsin’s Long-Term Care Partnership program.
  • Long-term care insurance: how it works.
  • Ethical and suitability issues regarding Long-Term Care insurance policies.
  • Wisconsin-specific laws and regulations affecting the sale of LTC insurance.

This course is available for instant download online—allowing working professionals to meet state continuing education requirements easily and conveniently. Study on your own time and receive immediate results when you complete the test. Order this course today and get started meeting WI LTC continuing education requirements.
